About Sienna

Beautiful Sienna is a 5 year old long hair Chihuahua who weighs 4 -5 pounds. She came to us with a number of other dogs from a hoarding situation. She is good with other dogs, but is a bit on the shy side with them. She has not been tested with cats. Due to her small size she would not be suitable in a home with young children. Sienna will need a home with a fenced yard as she is skittish due to her past. Sienna is heartworm negative and microchipped. Sienna's new family will need to be aware of this and give her time to come out of her shell at her own pace. She will need patience and understanding until she learns to trust. She is working on her housebreaking skills. Sienna can be affectionate and will sit on her foster moms lap, but you need to go slow with her. She's a very sweet and laid back kind of girl. She hasn't learned to play with toys yet, and does not play too much with the other dogs in her foster home. She's a bit independent, so we think she would be fine as any only dog; or having doggie siblings would be ok with her too. With the right family she will continue to gain confidence and learn to trust. In return, her family will have a loving dog who will be forever grateful for her new life as a family member.
