Yeti is a very loving, gentle, easy going, sensitive, spirit, who needs a quiet, calm home and his own person. He is approximately 5 years old, weighs 90 lbs., and is just a big baby, who adores being petted and stroked. He would love to be an only dog, and have all the love and attention of his person, or be in a home with a quiet, gentle female dog. On leash, Yeti walks nicely at your side and does not pull. He is polite and friendly when meeting new people and dogs on a walk. Yeti is easily stressed by fast and unpredictable movements and will avoid pushy or very active dogs. He is also uncomfortable if strangers approach and extend or wave their hands in front of him. At home, he would be a great watch dog, sounding the alert when strangers are approaching the home. In the home, he meets and greets women easily, but he is extremely watchful of unknown men coming in and around his home. Once he gets to know and trust them, he is fine. Yeti is extremely smart and wants to do the right thing. He has the gentlest mouth, and uses it to communicate and get you to pet him or play with him. Yeti has excellent bite inhibition and is completely house-trained. He will climb into a car willingly, but once you begin driving, he will tremble and pant. Found as a stray, Yeti may have been dumped from a car, causing this fear response.
