About Charlie

We have had Charlie since he was a pup. His parents were guard dogs for goats that ran in the hills in Southeast Ohio. He is very good with animals. We have chickens, cats, and cattle. Since we got him we have no problem with wild animals getting our chickens. He is fine with our young grand kids and our adult children. He seems protective of our family. The problem we have is that an underground fence would not keep him in and he was aggressive to a neighbor lady walking her dog on the road. We put a fence up, but he still goes under it to get to the road. He needs a home with distance to the road farther away and lots of room to roam. He is very loving and loyal to our family but seems to be aggressive to any one else coming on our property. He would be a great work dog with a fenced in area.
