About Bella

Bella is just as sweet and easy as can be. She's 4 years, 10 pounds, a little chubby still, needs to lose about a pound. Bella's former owner took her to the vet to be euthanized because she was peeing a lot. Thank goodness that vet called rescue instead! Bella has had surgery to remove struvite bladder stones. Her little bladder was full of them. No wonder she had wee-wee trouble. She's doing really well now. Bella will need to eat special food to keep her urinary tract in good condition (such as Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Dry Dog Food). She knows to potty outside, also use potty pads, especially in bad weather. Bella is a total love. Her favorite time is cuddling up under the blankets. She loves to be close, get hugs, give kisses. She really loves to sleep in the big bed. Bella would enjoy being an only dog if she gets a lot of attention. She'd do well with another easy going small dog. She's very laid back, quiet, submissive in the pack. Bella is a wonderful companion.
