About Blue and Gold Macaw

Looking for a better home for our Macaw. She is about 7 or 8 years old. She will step up and sit with you. She definitely picks favorites as far as people are concerned. She will let me pick her up hold her and rub her without biting me. But she is far from perfect as far as her temperament is concerned. She definitely would benefit from being in a house without dogs. We have 4 and she tolerates them but would prefer to avoid them if possible. I am not looking to make money off selling her but will be selective as to the home she goes to as I want to make sure that she is going to a good home. In order to ensure this I am asking for people to please give me as much information about the home that she will be going to as possible. If able I would like to visit the home she is going to as well to ensure she is going to a good and stable home. This is not the type of bird you would want to have in an apartment or a small space she can be quite loud especially when you are on the phone. Experience with large parrots required.
