About Meeka

Meeka is a pretty female Australian Cattledog with a double mask. She is 4 years old and weighs about 38 pounds. Meeka is a love! She loves to snuggle and give hugs. She also gives kisses. Best of all, she likes to smile! So far, she has been a gem with everyone she has met, kids included. Meeka knows the basis: sit and go to your room. She is also house and crate trained. She is very attentive and will learn more quickly. Meeka is good on leash and polite in the car. She will be a wonderful dog for adventures like hiking and travel. Meeka does require someone who gives their dogs rules and knows how to manage bossy Cattledog behavior. That's because she needs just a bit of time to warm up to new dogs. She gives an obvious low growl and any dog who acknowledges it and gives her space ends up accepted by her just fine. She currently lives with a group of dogs and does well. Bouncy, overly energetic dogs would likely bother her. Otherwise, she does just fine. Meeka is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Any potential adopters must be able to meet and adopt her in Southern CA. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
