About Turkey

Description of pet Turkey is just over a year old and about 50 pounds. He's so soft and almost feels like velvet. He is crate trained as well as house trained. He has worked with a trainer and is now great on a leash and will even automatically heel when you stop walking. He is great with kids, though has a bit of energy and could accidentally knock over a small child. He loves other dogs, but gets so excited he can barely contain himself. He would do best in a home without another dog or with a dog that has energy and doesn't mind this playful goof bugging them He does great during bath time and is great in the car. He has displayed food aggression around other dogs so would need to be separated during feeding time. He went into a home where he was noted to have food and treat aggression around people as well. He will be working on this issue with a trainer. Until that time we do not recommend a home with kids, and that the family would be able to provide strict discipline.
