About Pete

Pete is a happy go lucky 9 month old cairn terrier mix who is looking for his perfect forever home. Pete is a very active and high energy boy who is looking for a family that will give him lots of walks, exercise and play time. Pete has previously lived with toddlers, so he would love some gentle children to play with and run around the yard with him. Pete is good with other small dogs and would love to have a canine playmate in his forever home. We are unsure how he does with cats. Pete is somewhat house broken, but will still need some training and patience as he learns and adjusts. Pete is good on a leash and loves car rides, so he is ready to go on all kinds of fun adventures with his new family. Pete is a very friendly and outgoing boy who loves his people and follows like a shadow. Pete will make a very loving and loyal addition to his lucky new family. Pete loves to fetch and play with toys, so he is hoping he has a big toy box full of squeakies in his new home. Pete currently weighs in at 7 pounds, but could fill out a bit more in the coming months. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $300. His adoption fee includes a free vet visit as well as 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesday to Sunday 11-6. Call for locations on weekend as we have off site adoption events that some dogs attend.
