Mackey is a six pound Yorkshire Terrier, 4 years old, who was recently relased from a breeding facility. He has begun to let down his guard and is relaxing into a real terrier. Mackey gets his little tail nub wagging as he has started to initiate play with the other dogs in his foster home. He is working on his potty manners and learning that a leash is not an awful thing. Mackey has a wonderful personality - gets very excited when his foster mom returns from errands and when he gets let out of his kennel. He gets along great with the resident dogs, a Westie and a Yorkie, as well as the cat. Mackey is just so sweet! Suggested adoption donation for Mackey is a minimum of $400 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs. Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts only to people living in states neighboring Nebraska and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not transport or fly our rescue dogs. A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note: invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers. Adoption applications are located at: wagntrainterrierrescue.com
