OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hello, my name is Tristan. My foster Mom gave me this name because I have a powerful set of vocal chords, even though I am only 4 pounds. I sing beautifully for my meals, or when I want to go out, or when I need affection. She says I could sing Wagnerian opera when I grow up. My sister, Isolde, and I are staying in a house with two dogs and three cats. We all get along very well, except sometimes I become a bit 'pesky' and my furry friends try to get away from me. I don't understand, but they don't seem to like it when I chew on their tails or ears. I am still very young so I am not totally potty-trained. I do my business outside as often as possible and try to use the puppy pad only in emergencies. But I am still a baby so accidents do happen. I am a pretty cream color and am a curious and playful puppy. I think I am still too young to come to the adoption center, but I look forward to meeting you there soon. Tristan is a Female Australian Shepherd / Lab Mix that we estimate to be born around 1/15/2018. I will only grow to be about a medium sized dog since my momma Eema wasn't more than 40 lbs. :) PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
