About Charlie (aka Chewy)

Charlie A.K.A (Chewy) is fostered in Plano Texas through United Yorkie Rescue to http://unitedyorkierescue.org. Charlie is a 5 yr. old, 8lb. boy who came to United Yorkie Rescue in January 2018. Charlie came to UYR when is former owner was threatening to have him euthanized because they couldn't potty train him. Charlie was picked up as a stray in August of 2017 but the family he lived with didn't teach him manners or potty training. Charlie's in good health, he's up to date with his vaccines and has had a dental. He rides well in the car in a doggy car seat, and has a great personality! In the short time Charlie has been with his foster family they Charlie has shown he's very easy going, calm, friendly and loving. Charlie gets along well with his Yorkie foster siblings, has been going outside to do his business and listens well. He walks well on a leash, doesn't bark much, and loves to sit on a warm lap and get belly rubs. Charlie doesn't do well with a crate, he needs other options and will sleep on the couch, in his bed or better he'd love to sleep with his humans.
