About Lambo

Lambo Hound/sheperd/lab mix 9 weeks 16 lbs Lambo came to us from Tennessee with his 4 other siblings, his mom, and grandma. He was lucky to be fostered with all of his other litter mates in the same house. Lambo is an affectionate, fun, and cuddly puppy. He is also very social and loves to be with people, especially 'his pack'. He loves attention from people whether it involves playing a game of tug, some belly rubs, or snuggles on the couch. He hasn't met a person he doesn't like and is always ready to give out kisses. Lambo gets along with other dogs, but can get a little jealous of them if he feels left out. Otherwise, he is more than happy to wrestle and play with dogs of all sizes and ages. He enjoys spending time outside exploring and will romp from one end of the yard to the other. Lambo is crate trained, but takes a few minutes to settle down. Having a blanket or pillow for him to nestle into will make it easier for him. However, he really prefers to sleep with a member of his pack, be it human or dog. Potty training is still a work in progress. He has learned to go to the back door when he hears 'outside', but has accidents occasionally. He needs to be let out frequently because he is a young puppy. Lambo is learning manners and commands and will 'come' when called and 'sit' when asked. Lambo is raring to find his furrever home. Are you ready to come get this special boy ? Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a 'teen' or adult dog. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
