About Arya

ARYA is a very smart, fun loving black/tan Dobie girl.PERFECT DOG FOR SOMEONE WANTING A PUPPY-LIKE DOG. She has great energy and can run all day. She was born July 2016. She was an owner surrender. I got her out of the local animal shelter when a friend that volunteered there told me she was terrified and in need of a home. She is very loving, is a great pet and I would imagine would be an awesome agility dog. I am single, work many hours and am too busy to give her the exercise and training she needs. She loves to play catch and will leap up and grab tree branches for fun if bored and left in the backyard to her own devise. Arya is very petite at 50 pounds. Her tail is docked and her ears cropped but do not stand. She has learned down, sit, recalls well, happily goes into the crate when told to, best place for her when left alone. Walks well on lead when solo and no stimulation is around. Good group classes with a trainer is recommended so she can improve her attention with distractions. She is calm on car rides but in a city environment will bark at activities she observes. She is house broken. Arya is very affectionate to my resident Doberman, 6 year old male. She does prefer to be dominate but licks his ears and enjoys sleeping on him. Not good around cats. I would not recommend her around children under 10 or unsure footed elderly folks. Arya would be best at a home with a fenced yard for play or a farm for her to run! Not an apartment dog. Looking to recover adoption, spay I paid for since she had just arrived at the shelter and medicine purchased for a urinary infection after surgery: re-homing fee: $200 requested.
