About COCO

SAY HELLO TO COCO! Coco is a beautiful 6 year old Shih Tzu boy. Weighing in at just 16 pounds, Coco is a very gentle and sweet boy that takes a little bit to warm up but when he does he wants to be close to you and hang out. Coco loves to play with a nice fabric ball or toy and will retrieve it for you. He loves to carry his toys all outside with him! Coco loves to sit under a shady tree and squeak his toy or close his eyes and let the wind blow in his face. He's just the perfect company when you're sitting outside on the patio having that morning cup of coffee! Coco is house trained and will ask to go out every time he needs to go. Coco likes to be high up in places to see what's going on ~ loves to be in the window on 'look-out' to see who is coming and going in the neighborhood. Coco walks extremely well on a harness and leash and rides comfortably in the car. He very much likes to know where his person is and won't be far away! His ideal family will be one that has adults or adults with older teens who will understand and respect his small size, so no families with infants, toddlers or small kids will be considered. Coco would enjoy the company of another dog similar in size, age and temperament as his. Coco is a longer coated breed, so weekly brushing as well as a professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks will be required. Coco's adoption fee is $400.00 This fee includes his Veterinarian Wellness Visit upon intake into our rescue, his neuter, de-worming, all vaccinations including Rabies and Bordatella, microchip with lifetime registry and professional grooming.
