About The Illustrious Mr J2

Well hello there, I'm named Jacob but affectionately known as J2 and there simply could NOT be a higher honor in this jungle as Mare says she has NEVER seen another dog so identical in both looks AND personality to her very own, much beloved, Jake, our group founder... WOW, that's a LOT to live up to but I'm confiodent that I'll do my utmost to rise to that task! I'm a 1+ year old, BIG block headed, soft hearted, neutered male American Bully (Amstaff with LOTS of Mastiff AND Bulldog back blood) = WOO HOO ! Do you believe in love at first sight, souls destined to meet, miracles? Well I do ~ it saved my life! I was stuck in a shelter when several people sent my post to Mare, saying 'it's a Jake!' Mare saw me, exclaimed 'It's a Baby Jake!' and was instantly enchanted with my smile and gracious ways. It was love at first sight for us both! Now she tells everyone that I'm one of the absolute BEST BOYS she has EVER met! My perfect manners (indoors and out, thank you), HIGH intelligence, EASY GOING personality and devotion to pleasing my people have her singing my praises to all who'll listen. She even thinks I would make a good service dog because I'm so easy to train because I literally figure things out on my own and love exercising my mind by learning new things ~ those are extremely high compliments coming from her, I assure you. I enjoy complete freedom and special privileges in her home because she says I'm so trustworthy; never any accidents or chewing since I know how to behave and am the consummate gentleman! I have a great time with all my friends at our indoor multi dog indoor foster home, playing nicely with all the dogs I meet but she says I'm clearly a born leader, whatever that is, but I do watch over everyone to ensure all here are doing well in MY care. ( ;) ) Some of the dogs can initially be a little intimidated by my size but my good nature and impeccable manners usually wins them over, it always pays to be a GENTLEMAN General, lol. If you like walks, hiking or running, then I'm your boy ~ I'm a top athlete outdoors and the PERFECT couch potato inside��%BD'��%BD| it wouldn't be proper to be pushy about attention. I also enjoy hanging out to watch movies or entertain friends and I'm especially good with children as I positively adore those miniature hoomans, cutest things on earth!!! Car rides are great too ~ I sit nicely to take in the scenery wherever we go. I'll stick by your side through thick and thin 'cause I'm the most LOYAL friend you'll ever encounter! Typical of the original Amstaff bloodlines, I have a STABLE, even temperament, am CALM, kicked back, INTELLIGENT, easy to train, AFFECTIONATE, extremely GENTLE and very well behaved indoors knowing that's the place to be kicked back. I'm known for being the PERFECT breed ambassador who's SUPER socialized, housebroken, crate trained, sits instantly for treats and/or attention (without being asked, thank you) to impress all my new friends, especially at my tender young age!
