About Boom

Very sweet, loving, calm, indoor cat in need of a loving, calm (indoor cat) home. Maine Coon - domestic long hair tortoise shell mix, spayed female. Excellent with all children and adults. Loves to sleep on plastic grocery bags and chase laser pen lights. No issues with other cat in our house (young male). She is 10-11 years old (we adopted her from a shelter in mid-2008 and she was assumed to be less than 1-yr old at that time). She is timid/shy in new situations. She has her claws, but doesn't claw furniture. She loves her cardboard scratching pad! She is in very good health and great weight (10 lbs) (exam on 2/14/2018) and current on shots. She has been micro-chipped. We don't want to put her up for adoption, but she doesn't get the attention she needs in our busy house. Her only issue is that despite various changes we have made, she discretely urinates on our leather living room furniture (no issues when we switched back to standard cloth furniture, but then happened again when we bought a leather recliner).
