Spark Plug (about 2-3 years old as of February, 2018) is a neutered male brown tabby and white shorthaired cat. Spark Plug was caught during a trapping in Beach Park in 2017, a very friendly boy but completely blind and with a bad wound on his leg that took months to heal. Unfortunately he was not reported missing and no one claimed him, so now that his leg is finally all healed he is up for adoption. Despite his disability Spark Plug is a super loving boy who demands a lot of attention. Although he can't see he knows his name and will come running to be petted if you call out to him and he loves to spend hours every day in a lap. He gets along with other cats but is still very young and playful and may not do well with very docile cats that won't want to play or strong alpha cat types who won't appreciate an overconfident blind kitty constantly challenging their authority. He doesn't do well with dogs; he gets stressed out hearing and smelling the very cat friendly dog in his foster home so we think he'd be better off in a cat only household. Also because of his blindness his ideal home wouldn't have any any high unprotected ledges he could fall off of and wouldn't have furniture rearranged too often so he can learn to safely navigate by memory.
