About Gabriel

Adoption Fee: $350
Dalmatian mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Gabriel was yet another stray in south TX that landed in a very bad shelter. After we learned about this young man after he was incarcerated for some time, we put him into a foster home in Houston. There he lived with other dogs nicely. This is a very sweet, gentle, and a mellow boy, ready to love you. He could be a Dalmatian x Lab mix by his nature. Gabriel was slow to accept his new-found luck and foster home, but he is now a relaxed, loving companion, living in CO north of Denver. Gabriel is crate trained, has good house manners and is housebroken. Has even used the dog door a few times. If you are looking for a sweet fella to complete your life, look at this big guy. Gabe has been with lots of different dogs with no issues. He loves his toys and will play ball toss with himself, so politely. There is no issue with the 4' fence and other than a booming bark when he sees something new, Gabe is quiet. This is one gud buoy who loves to cuddle, readily comes when called, and walks well on the leash. He loves to be petted and get attention, and has been with children 10 yrs and up and should do well with all children, except maybe little ones due to his size. Gabe is very curious about cats. We don't know if he will be good with them or not, but as easily as he trains, he could be okay with cats. Meeting strangers is fun for Gabe and he is very treat motivated.
