About Wallace

Wallace is a very special 2 year old chihuahua mix who was saved from the Humane Society of Yuma. Wallace hit the jackpot once and was adopted, but sadly found his way back to the shelter. Now he's moved to the big city looking for love! Wallace is a lover boy who loves to give kisses! Wallace can be a bit finicky when it comes to being picked up. He doesn't want someone towering over him and picking him up. Wallace does best with people who come down to his level and let him wiggle his way up into your lap on his own time. Wallace is a playful boy who LOVES to play with squeaky toys! Wallace is the master of fetch and will even scream in excitement the whole time he chases his toy, and tell you how proud he is the whole way back! Wallace has a big voice and loves to sing to his people. Wallace is such a lover boy that he hates to be kenneled or not be able to get to his people. Wallace would do best in a home where someone is home more often than not, as he cries for his people when they first leave. Wallace would not be a good fit in an apartment if his people will be gone during the day. Wallace is a very active and playful boy who will do best with a yard to run and play in, and maybe even walks in the evening with his people! Wallace needs a home with only older children that understand he doesn't appreciate being picked up. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $220. His adoption fee includes a free vet visit as well as 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesday to Sunday 11-6. Call for locations on weekend as we have off site adoption events that some dogs attend.
