About BILBO DOGGINS

Pit Bull mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

BILBO DOGGINS, 3 years old, 56 lbs, Verplanck NY Are you ready to embark on an adventure of your life time?! Then you have to meet our boy Bilbo and make him your own. He is so much fun! Bilbo loves to run, play, explore - he is the best hiking buddy you could ever ask for. Bilbo gets along well with other dogs so four-legged siblings are welcomed. Bilbo can be a bit jumpy and easily aroused so we recommend a grown up home or with children over 13. Bilbo is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. If you would like to meet this handsome chap, please contact Amsteradog at 917-689-8414%BD%9D%A4%BD%BD%8F A volunteer writes: Bilbo Doggins is ready to go on an adventure. The more epic, the better! He'll tag along wherever you want to roam, and is always so happy to make new friends, both human and canine, indoors or out. Socializing, long walks and lingering sniff sessions are what this hunky hero lives for, and while he does pull enthusiastically on leash, he also responds well to correction and trundles along happily in a harness, immediately taking care of all his business once we hit the street. He greets passing dogs of any size with relaxed manners and has enjoyed his playdates with four-legged lady friends in the yard, too. Bilbo's super chill when off leash, and apart from a few short breaks to play, he's content to wander around the yard exploring with his nose, and even licks a few patches of ice just to see what they taste like. Toys of all kinds (but especially plush) are his other great love. He'll sit on command to wait for my throw, run to fetch, then walk around with his prize in his mouth, dropping it when he spots something more exciting so I can pick up and toss again. Posing indoors is not Bilbo's thing, yet despite vocal protests, he never turns his frustration on the photographer and really does try his best to sit still and look pretty, succeeding brilliantly on the second task, if not the first! In his den, he's tail-waggingly thrilled when visitors stop by, and content to indulge in gentle, blissed-out chew sessions with his toys the rest of the time. If you're having a bad day, I guarantee the sight of a sleepy-eyed Bilbo lounging on his bed while munching a plushie in slow motion is sure to bring a smile back to your face. If your family is all grown up, dog-savvy, outdoorsy and able to provide this happy chappy with the space, toys and exercise he needs (doggie siblings are a bonus!), then Bilbo's ready to embark on the journey home as soon as you are. Ask to meet this boy and get set for the adventure of a lifetime! Bilbo Videos: https://youtu.be/-FZZxLTnhk0 https://youtu.be/A8DX4_HQWJk https://youtu.be/3gAXsCQ96L0
