About Oliver

Meet Oliver! This little boy is a total sweetheart! At this time of year there are many pups that become available because they were gifts for holidays that wound up being more work than the recipient expected! Oliver was a Valentine's Gift and the family decided that they did not have enough time to spend with him. He is a beautiful golden color and is part Maltese, part Shih Tzu. He is hypoallergenic and non-shedding and is heading towards 3 months old. He is about 5 pounds now and it is hard to say how much he will weigh without seeing the parents but will most likely be about 10-14 pounds. He is shy for about 10 seconds and then he quickly follows you everywhere. He is very playful but he will sleep all night in bed with you and just snuggle on your chest. A great eater as well and is learning his housebreaking and wee wee pad training. He has also been crated and adjusts to it quickly. His adoption fee includes his neuter (per the terms of our contract), his current vaccinations, his rabies vaccine when he is old enough, microchip, wee wee pad and crate training as well as a harness and a leash. As we pre-screen all prospective adopters via email we would love to know more about you such as your lifestyle, work schedule, activity level, if you live in a house or apartment, area you live in, how many adults, children and pets in the home and any previous breed experience. We will then get back to those we feel that are the best fit. Please be patient with us. There are some dogs that we get an overwhelming response to and although we try to get to everyone sometimes it isn't possible.
