About Ellie

**Do Not contact me if you cannot offer her a regular job. If you don't know what that looks like then you do not have the experience or ability to provide mental stimulation for a high drive dog.** Ellie is 2 yrs old, 55 lbs. She is a high drive dog!! She loves and needs to work 5 days a week, finding hidden objects, go for runs, hikes, walks and car rides. She needs a patient loving home that will give her clear boundaries and leadership. Ellie does best with male dogs, lives with her trainer and has been professionally trained in basic obedience. Her adoptive family must be local, have previous breed experience with high drive dogs and agree to provide a job for Ellie and continue training with her trainer. Ellie will be provided with basic training support for life. No apartment dwellers!! No exceptions! There is a 5 step adoption process that includes an application, telephone interview, meet & greet, home check and adoption contract.
