About Toby

Toby is about 3 years old. Crate and pee pad trained from when I lived in an apartment, he also goes outside now that we live in a house with a fenced backyard. Toby has separation anxiety or just gets bored. Before we got the cat he would tear up any paper he could get a hold of. We just learned to make sure the mail and papers were out of his reach. He loves his cat brother and they play all the time! He also has issues with strangers, I got very sick after I got him so he only knows me, my kids and my grand kids. I think he is scared of strangers. He is good with my grand kids but not sure how he would be with strangers let alone strange children. I wouldn't want him to hurt anyone. he likes to jump up in our laps and could hurt someone doing that. He barks and protects his territory and lets us know if someone is at the door. He greets us at the door and gets very excited when we come home. Again, jumping up and wanted held. Toby is a very happy loving dog but he needs someone who will understand him and give him time to get to know them.
