Kona is a sweet and beautiful 7 year old indoor calico. We love her very much, but we feel that she would be happier in a home without small children. Before kids, she was very social, but now that we have two little ones in our very small house, she hides to avoid them until they go to sleep. I know she would love to be in a home where nobody chased her around. I think she would love to be in a house with some carpet. In our previous homes, she loved to use her nails on our carpeted stairs which never caused damage, but in our current home, we don't have carpet for her to satisfy her natural scratching needs. It breaks my heart to think about rehoming her, but I really can't help but think she would be happier in a calmer environment than we can provide her in a small house with two kids.
