About Ricky

Little Ricky is a very sweet senior boy looking for a loving home to live out the rest of his life. Ricky was found dirty, skinny, missing hair and scabs on his skin. Ricky also had a hernia and had to have 2 surgeries to repair it but that has finally healed. All this is now behind him and he is getting plenty to eat, plenty of care and lots of love. Ricky gets along with other dogs and does not bother cats. He walks well on a leash. Ricky loves cuddling in your lap and desperately wants loving. He does know how to sit, roll over and come on command. Ricky would make a great companion. Ricky is about 10 years old and 12 pounds. Please help Ricky find the loving home he deserves. From Ricky's Foster Mom: He is so sweet and will be very loyal to his owner. Yes he is 10 yrs old, but he does not act like it. He loves to go on walks and cuddle on your lap. He is not interested in toys he prefers the attention of his person. He is good with dogs and doesn't care about cats and will be fine with older, respectful kids. He is ok free roaming in the house because he does not bother anything and I leave a open crate for him. He is house trained and loves to go for walks and car rides. He does not mind baths and loves to be carried around. He definitely does not act like a senior and will absolutely adore whoever adopts him! Please don't let his age deter someone to adopt him since senior dogs can have a long life. He is really a GREAT dog!
