About Maddox

Hello, I am Maddox. I'm a 1 year old Australian Shepherd mix. I'm approximately 50lbs, and worth my weight in gold my foster mom says (it's true). I absolutely love being outside in the fresh air for walks and smells. Learning to follow commands on a leash still, but doing very well. I'm ok with cats. I do like to chase them because I am curious, but I never hurt them. I love having brothers and sisters to play with, and humans are great too (even little ones). I have medium energy, and love to play and sleep equally. I am house trained, know some basic commands, I don't mind being in a kennel when you are gone but I have been left to roam around and do great in the house as well. I mind my manners but there are lots of things to play with and learn about so i get distracted, and need some redirection occasionally. That's the puppy in me. I do like to have my human close to me at times. I mean close, like right on top of a lap close. I also like my space as well when I am tired, I find a spot and get comfy.
