About Scamp -Yorkie/Shih Tzu

Scamp is a very active boy with lots of love to give! He loves to play with other dogs and we hope to find him a home with a small dog to play with. Scamp is about 10 months old, neutered, current on vaccines, and heartworm negative. We were told he is a yorkie/Shih Tzu mix and he weighs 9.4 pounds. A little more about Scamp: *Indoor dog *Needs enclosed back yard for lots of room to play *Loves dogs his size *Loves to snuggle at night *Still a puppy with lots of energy *Prefer children over the age of eight years old WE ARE IN ABILENE, TEXAS. WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR PETS, WE REQUIRE ADOPTERS MEET THE DOG TO MAKE SURE IT IS A GOOD FIT. NOTE: We are a rescue, the dogs are in foster homes. WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. We require an application BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets. We contact vets to ensure that pets already in the adoptive home are current on vaccines, heartworm prevention and sterilized. We have gotten to know the pet and our goal is to make the best match, between pet and people. PLEASE be aware, we do not adopt out to a home that has an animal which has not been spayed or neutered.
