About Goldilocks

Adoption Fee: $650.00
Poodle / Maltese
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Goldilocks is a beautiful dog, about 12 pounds, about 2 years old, housebroken, crate trained, spayed, had a dental cleaning done, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. She can be a bit demanding and protective of her crate if someone bumps it which is the only reason we marked not good with children. If a child were to be banging on the crate she would be aggressive toward them. When she is loose she is friendly and sweet with everyone. She does a cute paw thing when she wants something. Initially she wouldn't eat dry dog food. We think someone may have been cooking people food for her. She will eat canned food and will eat the dry if mixed with the canned food now. She use to bark a lot and if allowed would probably go back to barking when she wants something, or someone comes over. She would be an excellent dog for an older person who needs a companion, or a family with older children who wouldn't tease her. She can be a more dominant/confident dog. We think she was very spoiled pet and hadn't had any formal training, or told to do anything, other then being housebroken. She likes to go for walks. She didn't know how to be around other dogs but has been doing terrific. They intimidated her at first. She wants to play but is not sure what to do if they touch her. I think she would grow to love a playful dog to have as a friend. please email [email protected] and send your current, or recent past vet clinic phone number with pets names so we can call for a reference is interested in Goldielocks.
