This lovely little red girl is is Penny. She is a Cattledog-Lab mix who was born in mid-December of 2017. We think she will be the size of a small to medium Lab, so over 60 pounds. She is a sweet pup looking for a home who is ready for the energy and training. Penny is a smartie. She already knows sit and kennel (as a command to go to her crate). She also knows all about the dog door. She is crate trained, too, and will need reinforcement in her new home. Penny is a sweet girl and she is a shy girl. She is slow to warm up but is a total lovebug when she gets to know someone. She will be fine in a home with older, calm kids. Penny is also slow to warm up to other dogs but is good when given time to get to know them. Relaxed dogs will work best for her. Then, once she is friends with another dog, she will play and wrestle with them! Penny is good in the car and is ready to learn about the leash. She has also started to fetch and will do well with someone who shows her how to bring it back. This funny little girl also likes to talk and watch birds! She is such a character. Penny likes companionship, so another dog and someone who is home more than not will be ideal for her new family. Penny is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. She is ready to meet potential adopters in SoCal. We do not ship our dogs, so all meetings must be done in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.
