About Baby Felix

Oscar and Felix are cutie patooties if ever there were some. Playful and energetic, they are all that three-month-old puppies should be. Felix is the more outgoing of these two. He seeks out a lap to snuggle in or a person to play with, leaving the deeper thinking up to his brother. These boys are used to being with their people. But, they are also very crate-trained and sleep well inside, it or travel in it too, without a peep. They are pee pad trained and go nearly on command every time as well. All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live. Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
