My friends here tell me that having a grey muzzle is a beautiful thing. I've heard through the doggie grapevine that sometimes adopters don't want their new dog to have a grey muzzle. Well, I am out to tell you why I think I'm worth it... First off, an introduction! My name is Shadow. I am about 9-10 years old. I'm a lab/shepherd mix. My owner became very sick and could no long give me the care and attention that I deserved. Regarding meeting you - it may take me literally a couple of minutes to realize I can trust you. Once you gimme those yummy treats - you got me! I will curl into your arms and just let you hold me. Don't worry about me being a bit older. I bet you a yummy Pupperoni piece that I can out-walk you! I love walks. My health is in pretty awesome shape. You wouldn't know I could be considered a 'grey muzzle' if you didn't see my grey muzzle! I know how to sit and shake. And am a polite boy. I'd probably do best in a home with older kiddos. I've liked hanging out with other relaxed and easy-going dogs! I'm not sure what I think about kitty cats just yet. I hope you know how good of a friend I will be to you for however many years I have left with you. Love, Shadow.
