About Cappuccino

Cappuccino is a 5-month-old Rat Terrier mix currently weighing about 12 lbs. Active and athletic, he loves playing with the other dogs and people in his foster home and running at the speed of a rocket inside the fenced yard. He also just loves being outdoors and on nice sunny days, he'll stay out as long as you allow. In typical puppylike fashion, he eventually wears out and is ready to snuggle in your arms for a nap. Cappuccino is also quite puppylike in his wariness of people and creatures new and strange. He thought the cats he saw at the vet's office were most unusual, so he barked at them. Likewise, whenever a stranger approaches, he barks and shies away. However, when people visit in his foster home, he warms up to them after he gets to know them. Continued training and socialization will help him overcome his initial fear of strangers. Cappuccino is a very smart little boy, who listens to commands and is already house-trained and crate trained. At night, he sleeps peacefully in his crate until morning with no complaints.
