About Lucy

Lucy is a sweet and super smart girl. She's a perfect companion dog. She doesn't bark or chew or make a mess. She learns new words all the time and aims to please. She likes walks and loves to chase a stick, but she doesn't need much activity. What she really needs is to be with you all day. She's alert but calm when she's by your side. She'll thrive in a home with no children and no other pets. We got Lucy 5 years ago when we worked from home. She thrived being around us all day, quietly watching us and happy to go for a walk or move from room to room. Our jobs have changed and now she's alone all day. It's not a good situation for her - she anxious without companionship. We're heartbroken but we want to do what's best for her. We hope we can find her a home with someone who works from home or is retired, someone who'll have plenty of time to be with this sweet girl.
