About Bob

Bob is fostered in Myakka City, FL (Manatee County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Bob is a 5-6 year old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. He is 85 lbs of pure love. He is a bit of lug who enjoys long walks almost as much as long naps in the shade and carrying his bowl. He is very affectionate and protective of his human. He loves children. He gets along well with other dogs, but would do best with only one or two dogs in the home. He doesn't do well with a larger group. He has not been cat-tested yet. He is house trained but will need to go out frequently. He knows basic commands like sit and down. Being a middle aged man, he will need daily walks a couple times a day to keep him from getting too stiff. Bob is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm negative.
