About Sarah

Siberian / Domestic Cat
Age: Senior
Sex: Female

Sarah does not have a happy story. But we hope she will. Sarah was adopted about ten years ago from a shelter, as a very sick kitten. A wonderful lady had adopted her, taken her to the vet, and got her well. This lady had a nine year old cat at the time, who now is 19, and Sarah loved him immediately. A couple years ago, Sarah's adoptive dad passed away, and a few weeks ago, Sarah's adoptive mom passed away unexpectedly, and Sarah and her adoptive brother were sent to the shelter. She sat there for two weeks, hoping next of kin, a familiar face, would come to save her. No one showed. But we did. Paws Worldwide stepped up and rescued this sweet girl and her much older brother. Her owners were very dedicated, loving people that would do anything for these sweet seniors. Now, we are hoping a new loving family chooses Sarah to be a part of their family. She is slow to adjust to new surroundings, but once she does, is very sweet and affectionate. She is a big girl, weighing in at about 18lbs! She's full of love. Sarah is super sweet! Sarah gets along really well with anyone - be it other cats or kittens, dogs and people! Sarah was rescued from a high kill shelter in the nick of time and is at a foster home, but is really hoping a wonderful person chooses her to be part of a loving forever family. Sarah is housebroken, always uses the litterbox, doesn't spray, doesn't scratch up the furniture, and is well-behaved. As well as current on all shots/vaccinations, is microchipped and fixed.
