About Leia

Meet Leia! Leia is a Redtick Coon Hound. When we first got Leia, we had no idea that she was pregnant. We believe she was 'hooked' before we got her as she did not have any interaction with any males that haven't been neutered by the time she arrived at KRR. They are 8 1/2 weeks old (approx. two months). Momma weighs about 60+ lbs and she is incredibly sweet and loves her pups! So far she has a great temperament; before she started showing signs of pregnancy, she was very hyper and loved to play outside and have fun! She is housetrained but dog door is always encouraged. She currently spends her time caring for her beautifuls babies. BUT they are getting bigger and soon, the time will come where they will be too big to stay with their current Foster. The pre-adoption process is now open to all applicants for Leia and all her puppies. They will be ready in about a month or so for Adoption. Leia is also scheduled to be spayed and we are willing to adopt her out as long as it remains that she gets spayed. Adopter may be the one to take Leia to her scheduled appointment or one of our representatives can do this for you as well. As soon as you are approved someone will be in touch with you to set up a meet and greet. Leia's adoption fee is $230. The puppies are $250 currently. All puppies will be vaccinated and spay/neutered when they are old enough and ready. We need to make sure they find homes relatively soon so that their Foster is not overwhelmed!
