About Brisco

Hi! I'm Brisco! I know, I know... it's a funny name. I get that a lot. But don't judge a book by it's cover, because there's a lot more to this dog than biscuits and gravy! I'm a two year old Retriever/ Shepherd mix. Just what kind of retriever and kind of shepherd is a bit harder to say, because I am officially a mutt (and a cute one, at that!) At 58 pounds I am a pretty big, but lean, dog. I'm a very friendly pooch, and have never in my short life met a stranger. I just love people. I love to go on walks, too. I am a very active dog with plenty of puppy energy left, and would do well in a family that's willing to take me on all of their adventures! After all, I love adventures. I am very curious, and like to explore. I would make the perfect hiking or running buddy. And I've overheard more than one admirer saying what a handsome fella I am. I have a blonde coat, which seems unusual among dogs, and the cutest perky ears. I am always happy, and if my tail isn't wagging, something's seriously wrong. I'm waiting patiently for my forever home, but I just hope the perfect person comes very soon. Will it be you? What's the harm in at least visting me to find out?
