This little cutie is JB, a 2 year old long hair Chihuahua who weighs in at only 4.4 pounds. JB came to us with a number of other dogs from a breeder who was retiring. He is heartworm negative, housebroken and microchipped. He uses a doggie door at his foster home. He gets along well with other dogs, and is a bit weary of the resident cats, but does not chase them. JB and the other dogs and cats sleep on his foster moms bed together. Due to his small size, he would not be suitable in home with young children. He is a very affectionate boy who loves attention. He gets excited when his foster mom comes home. He will sit on her lap and give her kisses, but he's not a big snuggler. This is likely due to his prior life since he wouldn't have been used to all of this loving. With time, this may change as he gets more comfortable. He is learning about walking on a leash as this is also new to him. JB thinks his name is Good Boy because he hears that so much! His little tongue likes to poke out of his mouth and we think that is as cute as can be. JB does like to chew things so will need to be watched so he doesn't hurt himself. If you think your family would be a perfect fit for JB, please submit an application.
