About Brucie

Meet Brucie. The sweetest 10 year old. He was sadly neglected. This little guy has an interesting story. When he was young he was found on the streets as a stray, no collar no microchip. The family that found him took him to their vet, had him vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. They loved him and planned to take great care of him forever. A family in the neighborhood claimed him as their own and they relinquished Brucie back to them. All these years later that family never even transferred his microchip to their information. Fast forward nine years and the family that found him receives a letter from the shelter stating they've got Brucie. They go to the shelter, pay all his fees and rescue him for the second time. Unfortunately they have two large dogs now that did not accept him. Wanting the best for this sweet neglected boy, They reached out to Yorkie Rescue of America for help. Needless to say we took him. He was a sad lost soul. He has been given all needed medical care including a dental. Most importantly he has been given love and the attention he deserves. Brucie is a healthy, handsome, happy guy who just wants to give and receive unconditional love. He has does not produce tears on his own so he will require eyedrops for life. He is a perfect angel when you give them to him. He wants to be wherever you are and will follow you from room to room. He's so happy he literally prances. He loves to cuddle and give hugs and kisses. He is the best hugger. He will sleep next to you in bed all night and can't be close enough to you. He loves riding in the car and walks great on a leash. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. Now all he needs is a loving home of his own.
