About Bo

Bo is an 8 month old Walker hound, Approx. 45-50 pounds. He is a cell dog trained by NC Division of Prisons' 'A New Leash on Life' program, an intense obedience training course. �%A0 A few words on Bo from his trainer: 'Commands he recognizes: Sit, down, bowl, speak, shake hands He's housebroken.�%A0 Let's you know when he wants to go out.�%A0 He's kind of shy with some people but once he learns you aren't going to hurt him he is very lovable.�%A0 Loves to play with tennis balls, chases them. Loves to sleep at your feet; when a loud noise startles him he will move to your head and snuggle up.�%A0 He wakes his trainer up with his paws.�%A0 If his leash is taken off he'll follow you wherever you go.�%A0 If he is tied he sits until you come back. Great dog, I feel like he would be good with kids and family who could love and spoil him. Negatives:�%A0 Scared of brooms.�%A0 Likes to dig (we have moles on camp) but when caught he stops.�%A0 A little skittish around large men but ok once he gets used to the person.�%A0 Probably not good with cats.'
