*COURTESY POSTING* Rocky's story from his current guardians: 'Rocky's owner passed away Christmas day. He was found as a stray a little over 2 years ago by my boyfriend's dad, and taken in. His dad passed away and we thought we had a home for him, but it didn't work out. They said he doesn't do well with cats at all. He is with a family member, but they are only able to hold onto him for a brief time, as they have 3 other dogs, and many farm animals and unable to keep him. He does well with just about everyone except for cats. He's housetrained, but may need some attention when first placed. Other fosters have said he 'may' mark the first couple of days if there are other dominant male dogs in the family. He can be a little excited when first meeting other dogs. And needs more attention on leash training. He's very friendly with people, non-destructive, and very, very lovable. He's been through a rough few months. Lost his fur brother in September, and his dad at Christmas, and been moved around to 3 different homes since then. Needs stability and patience. Came from a very loved home. Please help us honor his owner, and help him find a furever home!' http://2ndchance.rescuegroups.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=12741797
