About Mattie

Mattie is a sweet (8) year old long haired doxie mix. Her secondary breed is spaniel but I am not sure what kind. She is approximately 20 pounds. She has a very sweet disposition and gets attached easily to her family once she has the time to get used to the home. She gets along great with adult cats and I'm sure dogs after she gets to know them. She gets groomed several times per year and goes to the vet for vaccines, etc.... and she seems to show no aggression towards them. She does not do sweet with small pocket pets as she seems to be very jealous and seems to (at first anyway) consider them prey. She has just been groomed so her hair is very extremely short but can grown back in to a gorgeous longer coat with a long luxurious tail if you wish. She does not do great on long rides, but she can do short trips with either a benedryl or I do have pet meds that can go with her. She truly is a companion dog in the most pure sense of the word. I am re-homing her through no fault of her own and only asking a $50 re-homing fee. Must meet in Bennington, Vt. Any questions, please send an e-mail. Thank you.
