About Boo

Long story short. Boo came from Luisiana where he spent the first 6 years of his life in cage. Animal control was called in the past on former owner and instead of them takimg dog away they wrote owner a ticket and told him to build bigger cage. Boo would soend days and years in that cage on hot and cold rain and shine locked up by himself and would be given food and water occasinally. Due to his neglect he is on a smaller side than what male husky should be. He is only 45lb and his body is very undeveloped due to lack of exercise. Vet said over time he would get stronger with proper nutrition and care. Also Boo is heartworm positive. He started with his treatment and is doing great. For husky he is not very active dog whixh is good because we need him to stay calm while going through treatment. He did not seem to mind my child nor my dogs but we are still working on slow and proper introduction since he has not been exposed to kids nor other dogs. I don't know how would he react around cats. He would be perfect in a familly with older children or no children. Also i would prefer him to go into familly where he will be the only dog however trial period in a family with dogs is welcomed. His owner must be experienced husky owner that understands his breed. He will also require big fenced yard and sombody who will teach him house behavior and manners. He is crate trained and does not potty in it however he will mark here and there. Since recently he got fixed we expect that behavior to stop shortly.
