About DEAF - Popcorn - DEAF

Popcorn came from the dog pound. He is a little American Staffordshire Terrier mix or maybe a Boxer mix around 4 months of age and currently weighing 20 pounds. Popcorn is completely DEAF and he needs an adopter that is experienced with training deaf puppies. Other than being deaf, Popcorn is a happy, healthy, playful and active puppy. He likes to play with other dogs but cannot hear when they start to get upset with him, so we have to intervene. Popcorn has been cat tested - he sniffed the kitty and then didn't want anything else to do with it. Popcorn is crate trained, but needs house training and further obedience training. Popcorn must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and needs a secure fenced yard to run and play. Popcorn is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, microchipped. He has one puppy shot and will need at least one more before he can travel to another state. Popcorn has been started on heartworm and flea preventative. Popcorn has a $100.00 adoption fee.
