About Snowflake

Snowflake is a majestic, playful girl with super soft fur. She is a 4 year old Aussie/husky mix who loves car rides, hiking, walks, and cuddling with her people. She loves being outdoors and is very agile. She is a pleaser and picks up new commands quickly. She gives kisses, knows come, sit, and leave it and is working on lay down, off, wait and stay. She will kennel but wants to see her people to be content. She doesn't bark unless she is around unfamiliar people and just needs a little time to warm up and realize she is safe. For the first part of her life, she didn't get much attention. She was a backyard dog, with nothing to do and nobody to love. Since being in her foster home she has learned what it feels like to have a family. She's learning to trust and that she is wanted, her family loves her, and will always be there for her. She'll give you kisses and hugs in exchange for back scratches and belly rubs. That's a pretty good trade-off, don't you think? She likes to be brushed and is dog friendly, especially at the dog park. Snowflake is potty trained, spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. She will be available for adoption very soon through Australian Shepherds Furever and is being fostered in the Kansas City area.
