About Ashe

Ashe: A Fun-Loving, Energetic Friend 1-year old, silver and black, German Shepherd mix Good with other dogs: Unknown, but likely Good with children: Unknown Good with cats: Unknown Ashe is a rock star at the rescue! I mean, look at this face. This fellow quickly captured the hearts of all the volunteers with his teddy bear face and fun, sweet, outgoing personality. He's is a very loveable boy and really enjoys being around people. We don't know anything about his background, as he came in as a stray to MCACC West. But, what we do know is that Ashe is an absolute darling young boy who deserves a happy home with lots of fun and cuddles. Ashe is just a year old, so he will need to go through basic obedience and training. He smart and anxious to please, so we think he'll do well and be pretty easy train. He's got lots of energy, so will need a home with an active family that can ensure he gets plenty of mental and physical activity. He does walk pretty well on a leash, but could use additional training. Ashe hasn't been with a lot of other dogs at the rescue, but doesn't seem reactive on approach. However, we always recommend that you bring any other dogs in for a meet and greet. We also don't know how he does with children, but given his sweet nature, we'd suspect he'd enjoy older children that don't mind getting bumped and jumped on until he completes obedience training. All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Many juggle family and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient, as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
