About Layla

Meet Layla, an absolutely gorgeous female Boxer mix in need of a loving forever home. She's estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs in around 55 pounds. This angelic girl was rescued from a kill shelter in Kentucky with her 10 precious pups when the babies were just 3 weeks old. She's now in a safe and nurturing foster home where she has proven to be a remarkable mother to her pups and an all-around wonderful dog! She's friendly and gentle with humans and loves to show off her brood to anyone who would like to see them! She is especially drawn to children and will be a great family dog. Layla has done a great job with her pups and they are now almost weaned and ready for homes of their own. We'd love to have a home lined up for Layla as well, she certainly deserves it! She will be ready to leave for her new life on or after 2/23. Layla has been very quiet and well behaved in the home and is also housebroken and crate trained. She also gets along well with other canines. We think she'll fit in easily with most households! Prior to leaving for her new home, she will be spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee to the rescue is $275 and it helps to offset her medical expenses while in our care. This precious family is in a foster home in Chicago and can be seen by appointment only after an application has been received and approved.
