About Scruffy

When I was first rescued I was named Scruffy because I was a bit of a shaggy mess. My SC foster mom took me to be groomed, and I had to be shaved because someone had put glue in my hair. :-( Now I'm looking super cute!!! I'm a house and crate trained 1 year old, 26 lb Lhasa Apso mix who is in SC and looking for a NY/tri-state area FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME. Even though I had a hard start to my life, I'm still adorably handsome, am a huge fan of belly rubs, and love going for walks. I can be a little shy when I first meet you, but after a short while, you will find yourself covered with tons of kisses. (I will actually nudge you with my paw for me pets and cuddles!) Very little kids make me a bit nervous (although I have NEVER shown any signs of being aggressive), so my foster mom says if there are kids in the home (and she has a few herself!), they just need to take it slow with me.
