ntroducing Ella Fitzgerald! She is a 5-8 year old toy poodle with so much love to give even from her teeny tiny little 9lb body. She was discarded in the streets to survive�'�|completely blind. When she was rescued she was a broken little flower who has since blossomed. Not only does she live life to the fullest, upon meeting, one would never know she is completely blind: her hearing is very sharp (hearing the breaking bag of treats and more) and we have seen her interact with another dog - chasing him in play and following very closely through her very keen impressive senses. Her loving fosters have taught her commands allowing her to maneuver around and walk up and down stairs. She is such a special girl: very independent, loves running and exploring the backyard and going for walks. But mostly, she loves to snuggle up next to you or on your lap. As long as she is near her person, her tail will never stop wagging. She is great with people of all ages as long as they understand she needs the initial gentle first meeting and warms very quickly to other doggies with the proper introduction. There are some minimal medical considerations (dry eye meds and allergy considerations). Her best fit home is one with an understanding and patient family who can see how this little blind girl can act just like a pup who can see, because she will bring you unimaginable joy as she has with her foster parents and every single person who has interacted with her.
