About Georgia

Meet Georgia!! If you are looking for a sparkling personality, full of life and joy then Georgia might very well be your girl! She was given up by her family because they wanted a smaller dog. That's it. Just want a smaller dog than Georgia. They told us Georgia was 6 months old but we are thinking more like 4 1/2 months old due to the fact that she still has her puppy teeth. She is part Maltese and part Wheaten so she is going to be a little bit bigger girl. She is hypoallergenic and non-shedding. She is about 12 pounds right now. Without knowing her parents it is difficult to say how big she will be but she will probably be somewhere between 16 and 21 pounds. Georgia is in foster care with German Shepherds, small dogs and cats and gets along great with everyone. When you first meet her she is shy but that does not last long at all and she QUICKLY becomes a total velcro dog. She would do best in a home with kids and alot of activity as she is an active girl. Easy to train she is already learning sit and the down command. She is eager to please and very connected. Her adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, up to date vaccinations, halter and leash. Adoption fee applies. As we pre-screen via email please tell us a bit about yourself such as your lifestyle, work schedule, area you live in, house or apartment, how many adults, children and pets in the home etc. As we normally get a deluge of responses for adoptable dogs please be patient. We are not always able to get back to everyone and do get back to those we feel sound like the best fit. We do not adopt first come first serve.
